final list of selected titles for book talks
The Burlington High School faculty summer reading committee paired each BHS student with a book that the student listed as one of their top three choices. This process narrowed down the book list from 60 to 40 titles. We will be running book talks on each of the following texts on Friday, September 13th.

Students newly enrolled to BHS should see their guidance counselor to determine what summer reading book is best for them.
Students can access books digitally with the sora application

Student Responsibilities
Read your book.
Complete a READING RESPONSE FORM.
Bring a hard copy of your completed READING RESPONSE FORM to your book talk.
Participate in the book talk.
All book talks are technology-free, so no need to bring your device.
NOTE: Book talk groups will be announced in September. We are running multiple book talk groups for many of the titles.
